Basil
Basil
Most of my summer bouquets have basil in them and I get so many comments asking, “What is that amazing smell?” From licorice to lemon, to classic peppery Italian, one can’t go wrong with anything basil.
While they grow fine in the Texas heat, they need a little extra love once harvested. Dip in boiling water for a second, then place in cool or room temperature water out of the heat.
